How The Green Knot was born?

When I was planning my wedding, I spent countless hours shopping around online, reading tons of magazines, and bookmarking all my favorite wedding websites for an entire year. My fiancé at the time would allow me weekly ‘wedding talks’ over dinner to discuss all my findings on the web! At times the search for what I was looking for was a bit frustrating and overwhelming but I managed to remain diligent. One of my biggest problems was that I was looking for unique and different ideas for my wedding, and everything I came across didn't meet my expectations. Lots of the websites I came across had nice products but they just weren’t distinct or different enough for me.

I wanted to offer my guests and my bridal party gifts that were stylish, elegant but still rustic in its form and I wished there was a website that I could go to that was just tailored to natural products. With no luck, I decided to gather natural materials and make my own favors for my wedding! They were well received by my guests and were a huge hit.

So with lots of encouragement from my husband, family and close friends I decided to form that site I wish was there for me at that time. Now I can share my ideas with you if you’re seeking that unique difference in gift-giving and offer you that one-stop shopping experience for your special occasion. In addition to having fun with our products this is also a way to continue spreading the awareness and importance of giving back to the environment.
